RSVP for UX Show and Tell

Overview

UX Show & Tell is a unique occasion for Cleveland area designers, practitioners and students to see and hear about real-world design process. Attendees are encouraged, but not required, to share and discuss their own examples of design documentation.

What to bring

Paper copies or PDF files of wireframes, mental models, prototypes, concept models, storyboards, personas; your project artifacts and the stories behind them are what we're interested in learning about. Anything used to gain consensus, get over the hump of a blank screen, blueprint development or used to move a project foreward. Rough, crude sketches are just as interesting as polished deliverables.

We'll have a projector and large screen available, so please bring your PDF files on a USB jump drive (if you have one).

Presenters will be given a set amount of time to talk about the problem that needed solved and discuss how they used design communication to solve it. Or, how it failed.

Once we're done we'll retire to a nearby venue for socializing.

Whether you plan to share or just listen in; please let us know you're coming so we can prepare to make you comfortable. There is no cost for admission. There is a max limit of 30 people.

Origins

The idea for this excellent community sharing event was put forth and fostered by Chris Avore, a product strategist and designer in New York City. Thanks Chris!
